Matt was born on the 16th March 1976. In 1998 when Matt was just 22 years old, he and partner Heather Allebach won the USA. Junior Pair Championships! In 2001, Matt turned professional having been ranked in the top 15 figure skaters in the world and amongst the top 5 in the USA. As well as being a professional firgure skater, Matt has also done some acting, presenting and modeling! Matt has appeared in the movie 'Blades of Glory' in which he showed of not just his acting skills but also his skating skills where he was part of the 'Skate Tree'. Matt's presenting involves hosting America's CMT (Country Music Television) reality TV show 'CowboyU'! Matt has also hosted 'Legends on Ice' in LA and also Las Vegas! In 2006, Matt appeared on the hit television show 'Dancing On Ice' with skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean. Since then, Matt is the only skating professional to have appeared in all 7 series! Matt won series 3 of Dancing on Ice partnered with actress and singer Suzanne Shaw. He has also been partnered with celebrities such as Pop Princess Lisa Scott-Lee and Loose Woman Denise Welch! He is currently partnered with Hollyoaks Actress Jorgie Porter in series 7 of the show! Matt also is involved in a lot of work for various charities. One of his most recent being hosting an event for the 'Rays of Sunshine' Childrens Charity.
